having an issue getting a signal from my provider. So far I have jailbroken the iphone, i've installed ultrasn0w. But still can get a signal. (wifi works)
Here's where i believe the issue is, I currently have a modem firmware of 05.16.05, running on IoS 5.1. I unfortunately cant install the 6.15 baseband because i have a phone that was manufactuered right on the week of 134, which i cannot proceed with doing the 6.15 upgrade then unlock.
Some other notes, when I first checked the carrier on the phone it was showing the previous owners carrier. after the jailbreak ultrasn0w (possible unlock) it shows the carrier that my carrier piggy backs on. So the carrier has changed but still no signal. Not sure if that is a true unlock or not, but at some point in time the phone has recognized either the carrier, or the sim provided the carrier to the phone. yet still there is no signal...
