With competing threads and the long, twisting sticky about 2021 iPP deliveries, has a theme emerged with units that are 1/2TB?
My Apple order (i.e. 12.9 SG 1TB Wifi only) placed on 4/30 did not get through until 5:50 am (Pacific) and has consistently shown USA delivery as June 9 - 23.
There are two or more 1/2TB units in the sticky that apparently will deliver in the USA on 5/21/21, however one or more members report delivery dates moving to later dates than originally projected.
The BB dedicated thread is in the dark about deliveries of the entire range of 2021 iPPs. Perhaps the storyline for Amazon and other like vendors is much the same.
Is there any pattern with a particular vendor or is it the case that demand for 1/2TB units far exceeds supply even for early orders on 4/30/21?

Tbf, I don’t think it’s the case of separating the 1/2TB from other configurations. As Bloomberg reported yesterday… XDR Display are proving difficult to produce.

Thanks, but I am not discounting the display question. I am simply trying to determine if my perception is correct about 1/2TB units.

Given there's a bigger market for a $1000-ish iPad than $2000-ish, I'm guessing Apple's naturally just making more of the 128-256GB Wi-Fi configurations.

If 1-2TB sells better than Apple's estimates, I expect they're already adjusting production based on preorders.

I cant imagine Apple produced many 1TB/2TB models.
