I have the IPP 9.7, using the 256 GB wifi + cel.

I also have the IPP 9.7 128 wifi only.

And the last iOS.

I noticed that only in the 256 version the audio is sometimes muted, and for the whole iPAD. I thought at first it was the Earpods that had some sort of issue, then after I restarted the device the sound returned and things were 100% normal.

However this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Has anyone noticed this bug in any iPAD, or it's just mine? I believe this isn't some hardware flaw, instead it must be an iOS issue with this specific iPAD model.

when the audio is muted, try hitting the volume up/down buttons and see if the indicator on the screen that pops up says headphones underneath it

Now it has happened with the 128 model. Totally muted, but it says headphones underneath it. Even if you raise the volume to 100%, it's still muted. Since I used another iPAD model and another pair of Earpods, you can now be 100% sure this is a bug introduced by the last iOS version.

Is there a way to report this to Apple?

P.S. The iPAD became completely frozen and spinning the wheel forever. I'll see what can be done.

Unfortunatelly I don't think there's a way to generate a log for them.

Update: the iPAD restarted itself and the sound has returned. It's 100% normal now. Meaning I couldn't generate a log for the bug team, and since that happened with another iPAD and in a random moment, this is definitelly an iOS issue.

P.S.: it was not an iOS update.

The issue has been submitted in the bug reporter. Number 31778992.

I noticed the same bug today in the 256 model (totally muted), however this time when the iPAD restarted it said "the touchID can't be configured for this device". Funny thing is that I never activated TouchID (or even any password combination) for any of the iPADs in the first place. Maybe this bug is related to this functionality?

The bug has not happened again since that period. When it happened I couldn't create a more detailed log. For that reason I closed the bug report. Apple replied this:
