Tested the play sound alert in Find my iPad no response for several attempts to test it despite saying playing sound then plays sound maybe once in 5 or 6 presses of play sound. V9lume is OK not sure what’s up latest firmware and only 2 days old. 1Tb nano screen WiFi 11 inch model

iPad Pro IPPro M4 very slow to play sound and sometimes no sound when using Find my iPad

I just tested and it took about 4 seconds before the alert sound triggered. You may have had some interference at home or a slight server delay on Apple’s side.
