Looking for some monitor suggestions for my nMP.
Want a single large monitor. I may use one of my others as well. But looking for more real estate from a single large one.

More pixels or an ultra wide for Logic X ?

What are your opinions?

Maybe one of these?

Thanks

Ben

PS, So happy with my 6 core. a certain project that was system overloading loads is now sitting at 20% cpu usage. Nice. Very nice.

Well, it looks perfect!

Nice and wide but still extra pixels. All the other wide monitors are still 1080.

Plus this one has the extra ports etc that other don't.

It's a better option than 2x27's for me.

Logic is now going to fly on the nMP, and look a lot better than my aging dell!

Well, I got it!

Looks stunning. Truly an impressive screen. Logic is a pleasure to work on now. So much more real estate!

BUT!

Screen bleed :(

Sending it back to Amazon and getting a replacement.

Hopefully the new one will be ok!

Good luck. Mine has a slight bit of bleed also, but not nearly as bad as some examples I've seen.

Well, the replacement is actually worse than the first one.

I really like this screen so I guess I'll get another replacement. Try another one.

But I refuse to pay £800 for a screen that bleeds like this! If I can't get one that's right I may get the AOC, it's tempting to do anyway and save £300..

Sucks to hear that. I would skip the AOC though, has no thunderbolt.

Oh...didn't realise that.

I'll just keep replacing the LG until I get a good one then!

I paid a little more through Amazon than elsewhere but I'm kinda glad now, it's so easy to get replacements with them.
