IPS technology on new iMacs versus old iMacs

So on the Apple website you can read all about the IPS technology of the new iMac display, but didn't the old 24" models come with an IPS screen aswell? I know the 20" ones have a TN panel, but the 24" have an H-IPS panel, right?
