I'm trying to update to my iphone (currently running 8.4) to 9.0.2. Every time I try to manually update on itunes I get the "This device isn't eligible for the requested build". I've already tried trouble shooting the issue.

I tried looking in in the host file and looking for the "apple" server name to remove, but it's not there.

I also am not running a firewall or anything so idk why it's giving me issues. Any advice on how to proceed? Is there another way to update my iOS?

Thanks

So do I have any options or no?
Nope, the signing period of 9.0.2 is over, you can't upgrade or downgrade to this firmware anymore.

You can only upgrade to 9.2.1 but I guess you want to upgrade to 9.0.2 for jailbreaking, so you should stay on 8.4 for the moment.

As others have said, its 8.4 or 9.2.1. Now with that being said, you cannot even restore via 8.4. So if you wanted to set your phone up as new and maintain 8.4, you would have to go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings and Content. Then you can proceed to set it up. You probably weren't planning on doing this, but I thought I would let you know just incase.
