IPTC data in iPhoto 06

Can someone who has iPhoto '06 check this out? In iPhoto '05 and earlier, iPhoto ignored IPTC data. Does iPhoto '06 add keywords and other data to the IPTC data in the image itself, and also will it import IPTC data embedded in photos? This would be amazing--it would allow iPhoto to import keywords added to a file in for example Photoshop or Aperture, among other things.
