Anyone install this iRadio app yet? Appeared today in my installer.app and I hadn't seen it before...kinda nervous about installing it...sounds too good to be true...

Oh cool thanks, just downloaded and installed,

it works great!! the interface is slightly messy, but the chanels all work well

I'm sure there will be an immediate update but this v.1 has outstanding sound quality! Can't figure out how to change the volume as the rocker doesn't seem to work...also as you said the interface is a bit primitive, but this is as cool an app as I have ever seen for a PMP like the iPhone/iPod Touch...
Brilliant work!

I'm guessing it streams internet radios or does it actually allow you to search FM and AM waves? if the latter it's sounding good!

NO Hip-Hop/Rap?

Also after I browse some stations the app just closes on me.

But the sound is great and I also can't adjust it.

Props to the developer.. but hope this will be improved

OK, I guess this is a slightly off-topic question, but how can I force installer.app to update? To be honest I haven't got a clue if it's even possible...
Thanks
Marc

if you mean updating the actual installer app to the latest version perhaps go to the developer website www.nullriver.com and see if there is an update...
If you just want installer to give the you latest apps make sure you have "community services" installed to get the latest...

Finally something that truly makes use of iPod Touch's WiFi connection :)

I've been waiting for a slim media player to appear with the ability play Internet audio/video streams through a WiFi connection. If this app becomes stable and if realaudio and windows audio support is added, then at least half my dream will come true...

Now, if someone also would create a similair utility for internet video (realvideo, windows video) streams, then that would really make my day :)

I read that if you go to your iPod and raise the volume of an mp3 then start iRadio the volume will be where you set it in the iPod...

thanks for the tip!! works great.

Double click the Home button & you'll get a volume adjustment window.
I really liked the though of this idea but whenever i double click the home button it jst changes the top status bar... you know where the at&t logo is supposed to be and the time? It changes it to black and nothing happens. Then to make music stop playing or get out of the program I have to hold hte home button for about 10 seconds. When it crashes the program it automatically goes to my favorites... do you think it is just going to my favorites instead of my iPod for some reason?

much appreciated from both of you, thanks.
