IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL error during XP installation

I have a 8core Mac Pro running with 7300GT Graphics card.
I've had windows before but I had to format it.
Thing is, I took it step by step. Used bootcamp to install windows again and everything.
I'm installing my XP Home Edition SP1 on it because I really don't feel like purchasing another SP2 CD.
It formats and copies the windows fine. Then you go to the Windows installation screen, installing hardware settings, then about 75% of the way, it goes to the blue screen saying
IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

I shut down my computer and take out the new harddrive and 2GB of RAM I installed. Disconnected all the USB except the Keyboard. I am using a standard Logitech mouse connected to my keyboard.

Okay so I start it off again. It goes to the set up and it tells me,
"Setup is restarting" Then goes back to the installtion and installing hardware settings. Then again, blue screen at the same spot.

I really need to get some work on my computer but all these problems are just frustrating...

Yes it's SP1 but I should at least be able to run it on bootcamp.

You don't have to purchase another CD. Just slipstream SP2. Tacktech has a great guide on how to do so. Unfortunately, you will need access to a Windows machine in order to do so, so either use another computer or install trial VM software for the slipstream process. I'm not sure if this will solve your problem or not, but at least you can eliminate one possible issue.

The IRQ blue screen usually happens from bad hardware such as RAM, video cards, hard drive, controllers etc.

Yeah I slipstreamed and it worked well.
Guess it doesn't like SP1 =(
