I think it is but I'm not sure what exactly I would use it for, though it would be nice to have on hand in case I get some more macs without an OS. So is it worth $100 because I'm not too sure it would run very well on my eMac.
 
Your eMac might not fetch $100. A used Mac Mini with Leopard or Snow Leopard would be a solid bet if you have an extra monitor lying around somewhere. The difference in performance will be staggering coming from an eMac.

I'm considering buying a new mac mini sometime this year. I just like the retro macs, though not as a main computer.

Snow Leopard will not work on an eMac because it's Intel only.
