Is 16gb of RAM on a 21.5 iMac enough?

I do very minor video and photo editing for my family and my son does some for his YouTube channel. Not in 4k. Since the 21.5” iMac I want isn’t upgradable I’m getting 16gb with 552ssd. Is that sufficient enough RAM?

Apple wants $600 for 32 GB of RAM.
Crucial wants $290 for 32 GB of RAM.

At those prices, a 5K looks mighty tempting.

Yes, 16 Gb with the SSD will be fine, and I'd expect it to continue to be fine for years going forward, for what you are doing.
