Got a phone call from my friend who owns a pawn shop, someone brought a drone in to him to pawn, and since he knows I am a commercial drone pilot he had me come in and check it out for him, turns out it is a very nice drone, and in fact actually bought it from the guy for less than what he was offering him, the person who owned it clearly needed money badly but his loss and my gain to add to my fleet. While talking to him, I mentioned I’d like to get the new iPad Air m1 and he said he has one that is basically like an open box item since he has the box and doesn’t think the charger was ever used. He is asking $400 usd for it….. Is that a good price, believe it is Wi-Fi only and 64gb?

It's $600 new when not on sale, so I'd say $400 is pretty good if it's in like new condition. As long as it's the M1 Air.
If the Air had speakers as good as the Pro I'd consider an Air.

Good price just be careful with used. Check everything carefully. If it is like new then$400 is a steal.
if you know this friend and trust him, then $400 is a great deal for an Air 5 that sounds basically brand new.
