For those of you already gaming on the new MBP (especially the 13''), is 4GB enough RAM?

There are other bottlenecks so yes, 4GB is more than fine. You probably won't notice anything by getting 8GB.

So now I'm curious. What are the bigger bottlenecks and what can I do to obviate those problems? Thanks!

Hard drive, CPU, GPU... What can you do? Nothing. Seriously, most gamers have 4GB RAM and their system is a lot faster than yours. Why? Because as spinnerlys said, most games are 32-bit and thus cannot utilize more than 3GB of RAM

Thanks HH. And by the way, you have the most kick-ass ID image.

Doesn't that leave some left over for you operating system to enjoy? :) BTW, I've got 4GB RAM in my MBP.

4GB is more than enough if you're only running the games themselves without many memory-intensive programs in the background.
