Hi,

I am taking my ibook and digital camera to Europe.

In order for them to function properly, is an adaptor for the plug the only thing that I need for them to function ??

Is there any damage when charging them with a 220 electric current, as
opposed to 110, (I think is 220 what they use in Europe).

Thank you,

igmolinav

I'm not sure about the digital camera, but the ibook will certainly work with only a plug adaptor. I use my US-bought PB here in France (as well as my iPod) and it works fine. The voltage/frequency autoswitches. I'd expect that the digital camera power supply does as well; both my digicam and camcorder work fine.

igmolinav,

The ibook will be fine. I've had mine over many times over the years and there is no problem. As for your camera - you'd have to check the transformer for your camera recharger to be sure that it is a full current 110 to 240 transformer.

Hope this helps.

Dan

Make sure you obtain the correct plug adaptor, though. If travelling through different countries in Europe you may need more than one.

Thank you !!!
