Heaven or Hell
Is anyone Bored with your iPhone?

I am getting bored with my iPhone 3G.
I just feel it is too locked down and proprietary.

I am looking to switch to Android pretty soon!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Not me.

Jailbreak~

Why, so he can run 2 applications that bore him at the same time?

Face it, if he's not having fun with a mobile computer, he's just not gonna have fun. Jailbreaking or Android are the same thing...just 3 more weeks of a "this is new" feeling that will quickly fade.

I strongly suggest that the OP just go back to a dumb-phone right now instead of wasting months on 'solutions' that will only prolong the inevitable.

I agree. You can modify the themes and change the look/feel of your phone if it's jailbroken. It's not a permanent fix to your boredom, but it should be able to hold you over for a litle longer. Things get boring when you get used to them, it's just part of life.

If you wanna switch then switch

Do you want others to join with you? Your not happy bye bye see you have a nice life. If you feel the need to find other like you look for another thread think it's even the same title.

Get a Windows Mobile phone. Something from a 5.0 vintage is just fine.

It will keep you entertained non-stop with lackluster performance, bluetooth that needs registry edits to sync with most cars, hacks to get many apps to even run and consistent memory management issues. Blow your free time pulling batteries to reboot from a lockup. Enjoy passing the time by finding pirated versions of badly needed upcoming OS updates being held up by the carrier. Watch the clock spin as you crawl the internet with a browser from the prehistoric ages and rendering of web pages with quality which predates the Incas.

Bored? Juts pick up a Motorola Q9M or the like on ebay and watch time just fly by. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

No, I'm not bored with it. I think it's the best bit of technology I've ever owned. I'm always discovering new things to do with it. Bought a Gorillapod today and put their software on :p (It's also the only bit of Apple tech that I've ever owned, save for a shuffle some while back)

Take up a hobby or two, there are apps to aid in many hobbies. Then you find more to do with your iPhone.

Yep I was bored so I jailbroke at the weekend. It's like having a new phone now. Only installed about 4 apps from Cydia and it gives me much more functions. Hope 4.0 comes soon

I didn't feel bored during my 3 hour Grand Theft Auto playing session at all.

If you don't mind dealing with the daily crashes. ;)

I can't even remember the last time my iPhone went into safe mode. I rarely ever have problems with my jailbroken iPhone. Sure, the occasional app may crash due to low memory, but I don't use many apps that require a lot of memory, and I'm willing to sacrifice that to have the the things I have, like SBSettings and LockInfo.

They say that only boring people get bored.

Real life will always be far more entertaining than any widget-world. I think it's sad when I ride the bus/train and so many folks are lost in their iPhone's brainless distractions while the world outside -- trees, beautiful women, life -- just whizzes by, unnoticed.

Note the OP is Banned.

Do you really think Android will be able to entertain you more? It's a phone, not a clown.

LOL! The mascot of Droid is the HAL 2600, so it's actually a homicidal robot.

Companies such as Microsoft do pay people to post FUD, so I won't be too surprised.

Daily crashes? What daily crashes? Maybe if you have a 3G/2G iPhone and have tons of programs installed that are constantly running in the background yes. I have a 3GS and haven't experienced any crashes.

I have had them all Palm, Blueberry, Windows Mobile on. Motorola
Q, and now that I have them all I now have truly the best
not one issue including AT&T's service so I don't know what ppl
expect to do. So does that mean just bc you get bored of your
wife or kids you trade up...lol. I baby my 32 GB White. 3GS
and treat it very well and it does well for me so I have no complaints.
