Buy a DXO One and get a bigger sensor and 1.8 Aperture.
Tbh the camera phone is what it is. I'm not sure I'd want to leave the

line up to just get a better camera. I prefer iOS to other systems so will make do with whatever camera they offer. I'll stick to DSLR photography when I want something better.
I think this is pretty much the top and bottom of my thoughts too.
The iPhone has a good enough camera. It takes very very good images for what it is, but if I want something to ensure the utmost quality, then a dedicated camera device is what I will turn to.
The only reason I would want a better camera in my phone would be if I was considering not having a dedicated camera.
I am not there yet by a long stretch.
I moved away from Apple devices a while ago. I couldnt justify having an iPhone for my personal phone in addition to my work supplied phone. It was just too much to pay for an apple device for one or two calls every second day and a bit of browsing on the go. I have never really seen the camera on my phone as anything other than for use in emergency or for photographing receipts for my expenses
That may well change in the future, but like AFB not moving away from iPhone because of the camera alone, I wont be moving back to iphone because of it either.
I have noticed though that I am not feeling the pizzaz of Apple Day any more. Are you guys feeling similar? I know I am being a heretic on here but...
My wife used to ring fence 6pm-7:30pm on a Tuesday twice a year so I could watch the live streamed comments of the keynotes. I used to be really excited like I was watching the lotto numbers being drawn. Now it is kind of "meh... whatever"...
I am not feeling the Apple revolution energy any more.
It has been years since my reaction has been "Woah! I want one..." and I feel bad for that as I think Apple are still the best in terms of design. I was actually stunned when the watch came out as it was the first time I had seen a negative reaction to an Apple device.
For years Apple devices have garnered a reaction of envy and desire. The watch saw people referring to the wearer in somewhat more derogatory terms. That was a surprise.
Sorry, went off on one there.... oops
