I check the Apple UK page every day, with a usual sigh that I have seen the same page for about 3 weeks, but now, the UK page is starting to look more and more like the US page, it's getting me excited about the iPhone and its imminent launch!

First, the page got the same layout, then the new iMac/iLife/iWork '08, and now, the UK iTunes Store has TV Shows! (Not that I really care, I've been using eBay and US gift cards for years, but STILL!)

It's coming, and you know it's coming! :D

You guys don't have the iPhone over there yet? Wow, that's gotta suck! LOL :p I'm just messing with you, but I doubt it will be long.

Ha! That's just not fair...I would've bought one, esp. with the refurbs coming to the surface, but all the unlocking procedures seem a bit intrusive, and I really don't want to spend my life in debt to AT&T for excessive roaming charges...

...Plus NOTHING beats that new :apple: smell :)

Im very excited... Hope it is with O2 thou. :):)

Well, according to the Financial Times and every website on the internet it will be - of course every website on the internet also said it was going to be 3G (even though O2 have changed their total crap GPRS to not-as-bad EDGE browsing, and O2 lost a hot lot of money buying 3G in the first place) and on Vodafone.

I'm guessing the FT has some credibility though, I mean, broadsheets don't tend to BS too much, esp. over gadgets and gismos.

Do you think o2 will offer the Unlimited Data plan as AT&T has in the US??

They have an unlimited data plan now, it costs a bit but it's probably worth it depending on how much you'd use it for. If there is 3G iPhone released, the unlimited data plan would seem a lot more sensible, but I guess we will just have to wait and see :)
