Every time I open my iPad (well not every but frequently), the screen rotates to the opposite orientation. This is beyond annoying and is happening more and more. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. Report it if you’re on a beta.

Another gift from iOS 13. Began with the release of 13.0, not a beta. I have the 3rd gen 12” iPad Pro and occasionally while just looking at the screen it would rotate 180 degrees. I haven’t had that happen for a while now. But I’m on the current 13.2 beta so that might have fixed it. My wife’s first gen 12” iPad Pro on the current general release does it all the time.

Yes. When waking from sleep (opening cover)it’s usually not oriented correctly. My 10.5 is on the current public release.

I am and I have stopped getting annoyed or angry, Apple has become a complete joke with this iOS 13 update

I had this problem on my iPad Mini 5 but it went away with 13.1.3. It was incredibly annoying. My workaround was to turn it off, rotate to desired orientation, turn it on.

Yep. I updated to iPad OS 13 and every update of it since and I’m often greeted with this issue when waking my iPad Pros (12.9 and 9.7). One of many bugs in 13.

It was happening to my iPad pro 10.5' randomly in the past like you wrote, opening the iPad, but then it was fixing itself . After iPadoS 13/13.1/13.2 "no beta" it's happening all the time!!
If I rotate the iPad in Mail , it stays vertical till I don't close the app and reopen it 😖

On my wife's 1st gen 12" iPad Pro it happens several times a day. She's not happy. I haven't seen it in a while on my 3rd gen iPad Pro.
