Their iPhone seems to get slowly more buggy every day.

It's the case for mine. It started out fine for me. Other people were saying that they were having a few crashes, but i wasn't. Then all of a sudden, it starts to lock up, or crash.

It seems with each day that goes by, it gets worse and worse. Whether it be from just listening to music, using maps, using the browser, it always happens. I don't change anything either...

Hopefully Apple has the update released soon...they have had a month and hundreds of thousands of users give feedback.

I can't say definitely, but I have a feeling it might be occurring more frequently.

I cleared Safari's cache, and it might have helped.

Google Maps crashed the first time, yesterday.

It's all very subtle, though.

I've restarted it a few times, for various reasons, but I haven't done a full restore.

If I did do a restore, it would take a while to get a feel for how often crashes are occurring. I think (hope?) an update would be out before enough time went by.

side note: none of the crashes have been anymore than a slight annoyance. I was able to pick up where I left off when the app restarted.

Mine actually seemed to get better. I had horrible battery life the first week then it got much better. The email works great, my WiFi always connects and my music always plays and I even have three full length movies on mine just to have some fun with it.

I love my iPhone.

I leave mine on all the time and it works fine. On occasion I have noted some sluggishness but closing the apps I'm in seems to clear it.

To do this just open any app than hold down the Home button until you're booted to the home screen. For the record, I'm not sure that this closes all applications or just the one you happen to be in.

Well something that just started today was on the slide to unlock screen.

It had about a 7 second delay where i would slide it, the slider wouldn't even move, but then it would unlock after about 7 seconds.

whenever i experience a crash, subsequent crashes aren't too far away. so whenever it happens, i turn the phone off and on, and i gotta say crashes happen rarely now.

Wow mine do that twice and then I force reset it and everything went back to normal. But mine feels like its getting worse too. I have restored a couple times to no avail. Hopefully they get a move in this!

I talked to the "geniuses" yesterday. They said to make sure that I did a soft reset. So that means, hold down the menu button and the lock/unlock button for 10 seconds. He said that is the equivalent of taking out the battery and letting it sit for 10 seconds. Just turing off the phone doesn't do a reset of the OS.

Also, I noticed that heat is the iPhones worst enemy. If you have a rubber sleve on it, that could be causing you problems because it can't breathe. Apple made the metal backing for a reason, (big heat sync). I noticed that when the iphone is hot, the battery will go down like 4 times faster.

I had major problems with the iPhone locking up when trying to unlock it with the slider, and doing a restore from iTunes fixed it -- haven't had that problem since, but had a few app crashes -- Safari, Google Maps...

I keep my iPhone on 24/7 and have reset it maybe twice or 3 times.

Maybe I'm just not as picky as some (although I like to think I am just as observant), but I don't notice anything like what is mentioned in the OP.

Since I have owned mine, I have only had 1 problem that required me to reboot it. I was going to make a call and it just locked. After a few button presses I was able to get it to react but it was so unstable and sluggish it wasn't going to recover.

I have had a few crashes with safari, but they are so painless that I barely notice it.

After having it since release, its still way more stable then my Treo ever was. I am very happy with it.

What does everyone count as a crash? When i use safari, every once in a while it will stop working and send me back to the home screen. But one day i was taking to a friend of mine who owns a iphone and he was asking me if my iphone ever crashes. i told him yea mines will stop working and send me back to the home screen. He told me that when his crashes it will totally freeze and he needs to restart to get it to work again. So i was wondering what everyone means by crashes?

i'm getting these issues. It freezes a lot. And the speakers are weird. Both the headphones and the phone.
