Sometimes I wonder why I stick with Apple. Is it just me?
All except a couple of these were there straight out of the box. A couple happened after a while. None have ever been dropped or mistreated.

1. iPod Touch 1 - bricked by update
2. iPad 1 - light leakage
3. iPad 3 - blue line across screen
4. iPhone 4s - dent in bezel
5. iPhone 6s Plus (1st) - mark in screen, dust in camera
6. iPhone 6s Plus (2nd) - dust in screen, marks on aluminium, dot in middle of screen
7. iPhone 7 Plus (1st) - scratch under earpiece
8. iPhone 7 Plus (2nd) - 3 marks on upper antenna and mark near camera flash
9. iPhone 7 (1st) - scratch on screen
10. iPhone 7 (2nd) - scuff near flash

Well... I had some bad luck my last go around of products also. My old iPhone was glitchy and wanted to try a good android phone, got a Samsung S7 edge and it had issues, returned it and got a iPhone 6s and it screeched this awful noise when making calls, then got my current 6s which is OK except the touch ID is wonky as heck. At least it works.

I miss the old-school nokia and LG flip phones....

Ha ha me too. I was starting to think I was cursed as none of the damage I mentioned above has been caused by me

Any place but here or there....
You're not alone:

iP6 - SIM card tray issue
iP6s - battery drain
iP7+ - even more rapid battery drain
iP6s+ - LED issues and battery usage and standby shut off

Several iPads returned for speaker and screen issues

Countless slowdowns with both iMacs, now my older one can barely use Safari.

All since 2013.

I have already bailed Apple phone-wise, and am working on a PC replacement.

If you stay, may you get a phone you're happy with.

I just paid 360 dollars to fix a SIM card tray
This means that the SIM card tray cost half of the cost of a new Apple phone

Ridiculous
Not buying Apple and also dislike the iCloud /. Not using iCloud emails because I heard Tim Cook saying that Apple was gonna have a gun that would make everything work without problems ...

The hub is no where to be found and you must buy extra storage from Apple other wise your whole Apple iCloud system will basicly not work / email won't be send or received / your photos will vanish ...

Well I guess Apple is money grabbing
Check receipt ....

Ouch on the SIM card replacement.

I have since gone back to Apple, let Tim Cook know my issues as politely yet firmly as I could and wound up with a discounted 7+ that just works.

Perhaps you could email and request a partial refund for the SIM card tray fix?

Just be nice but firm, you never know.
