is anyone going to sync photos??

just a quick question....is anyone actually going to sync photos from their computer to their iPhone.....i dont see the point....i will be only taking photos with the iPhone camera.....i feel putting photos on the iPhone would be a waste of precious space......who here is putting photos on it and for what reason???

some people have children and family and they'd like to be able to show thier pictures....
apple wouldn't include it if people didn't want it

I currently have around 500 photos on my 680, so yes, I will be syncing photos to my iPhoto.

It is great to be able to whip out the Treo/iPhone and show pictures of friends, family, kids, etc.

I'd much rather put photos from a better camera on an iPhone so yes I will. Not to say that iPhone's camera is trash compared to its screen resolution. I'm just saying I have lots of good photos taken already so why not show them off.

When my iPhoto library is synced to my 'pod it takes up 3gb. with 4-8gb storage space I'd say - no

I've made a smart album of "Favorites" in iPhoto. It fetches all of my 4-5 star rated photos from my batch of about 4,000 so yes I'll have my photos on there

yeah i basically make a fave album that i add to periodically, and that is only about 25 pics so i will put that on there to show stuff off to people, because they are much better quality photos

I will definitely sync photos. Lik previously posted, I always have about 100 pics on my 680 and love to play slide shows for people so they can see my doggies!

ill deff be putting photos on, i have a library of over 30,000 on my computer in Apeture, it will be great to show off my best work and it looks like one of the apps that really uses the pinch/squeze feature of the multi touch.. it will be great to play with that.

and you can down the quality alot bc of the resolution on the phone and they wil still look good. And remeber 1 gig of 10MP photos is about 200-250 photos, i can diff give up that much space, on my 8Gig...
