30 a month is alot but they do pay as you go ect ect..... Annnnnnnnd if you arent near a free wifi bets are your near a tmobile one, so am i the only one considering this?

Where specifically would you use it? At Starbucks (that's the first place I can think of that offers T-Mobile Hotspot Access)? And what is the speed on it like?

coolosxapps

the locations are mostly borders bookstores, starbucks, and airports.... but if im next to either im sure you get atleast some signal that would beat EDGE..... and im sure its fast enough

Yeah, you really want to hang out in a Starbucks? Why not just use the rad cafes in your town that have free wi-fi?

I have a tMobile Hotspot account for my company, so I'm guessing I just set it up in the phone and it will work too. Pretty exciuted to try that, and glad I already have the account!

I wonder if you have to manually log on each time or at each HotSpot. Seams like it should remember the settings as each time I'm at a Starbucks I have to enter the same name/password.

Maybe the iPhone will just log on it self when I enter the store!?!?

I'm definitely looking for something like this. It would be nice if Boingo were to offer their $7.95/month smartphone WiFi plan for the iPhone. Or if T-Mobile were to offer a phone edition of their plan for something less than $30.

If it were $10-$15, I would get this.

yea im strongly considering atleast the 24 hour pass to test coverage...

Nah ... getting free wifi is too easy in major cities. Pointless and too expensive. Not to mention, you won't catch me dead in a Starbucks ... Dunkin Donuts for teh win!

T-Mobile's speed is always good, even where there are a dozen PBs/MBs in Starbucks:D

It's a lot of money but if you hang out at Starbucks a lot, it's probably not a bad deal.
