I work in a warehouse and bang my watch around metal equipment quite regularly.

So, during the day I use a bumper case.

Don't see anyone offering one thus far. Has anyone found a supplier? Hoping Spigen starts offering them soon.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve looked on both Amazon and E-Bay and no one seems to have started making them. I think its going to be more challenging to make one because of the size and curve of the screen. I hope we get to see one soon!

Bought this soft bumper case. Due to arrive tomorrow

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3N4NY7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Seems like a legit 44mm fit. The company emailed me this letter:

You have received a message from the Amazon Seller - HYKS

# ASIN Product Name
1 B07H3N4NY7 HYKS Compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 Case 44mm, Clear Soft Bumper Case Replacement for iWatch Cover [Wireless Phone Accessory]

Message:
Hi my friend,
Thank you for your support of HYKS.
We sent this email with an important notice that needs to be communicated to you.

Our product has been pre-test on 44mm Series 4 and the case is a perfect match for the apple watch 44mm series 4.
But boxes, manuals, labels was made prior to the 44mm Series 4 announcement, therefore some materials do not reflect current name of the watch"44mm".It could be 42mm.But please rest assured, although the label is wrong, the case is indeed 44mm series 4.

We suggest you try to install the case after receiving it.If you have any questions about this, please contact our customer service . We will definitely provide you with a satisfactory solution.
Thank you for your understanding.

Not sure if anyone here previously used x-doria bumpers for their Apple Watch. I emailed their customer support and they did confirm 44mm bumpers for Series 4 will be available either December or January. So a bit of a wait, but just in case anyone was wondering if they were going to be adding them to their line up.. they are. :) Their bumpers were the ones I previously used all the time so this is why I was wondering.

It's amazing that we are waiting this long for bumpers to be produced. I guess Apple did not supply early prototypes to companies. My hope is on Spigen to come out with a case soon. They wrote me back to tell me that they will be offering them but my guess is that it might not be for another month or two.

I just got that bumper today. It's very tight and seems to work well. I have an armorsuit screen shield on my watch also.

I do like the slimness of the watch but I'd like to keep it protected so I'm not sure how I feel about it this bumper. It does the job though.

Im currently using the same until X-Doria releases their bumpers later in the year into early 2019. Then I'll pick some of those up, but this one does the job for now. Im like you, just wanted to make sure it was protected for now. :)

Looks good. Is it on correctly as it looks a bit skewed in the bottom right photo? Or is it REALLY tight? I am still waiting for my cheap eBay ones to arrive.

really (a case with a watch)??

Yup. Really. The main reason for me: I work as courier and my job is physical and as much as I bump to different things, $500 is worth for me to protect it from damage.
Perhaps if I had an office job this wouldn’t be an issue at all

Waiting for Spigen to come out with theirs. In the meantime, the one mentioned in Post #19 above is the same as mine just from a different manufacturer.

I got the cheap clear one from eBay. It was nastier than I expected. It is soft clear silicone and fits over the whole front of the watch and is far too easy to pull off as it doesn’t fit “around” the watch like I thought it would (unlike how my old bumpers worked). It’s a good fit though just a bit of a useless design for sports.

Waiting for a black one to arrive which should cover the watch properly.
