I'm thinking to buy a smart keyboard but I'm worrying about the back case. The silicone case is a bit pricy for me (I'm a student). I'm looking for the cover which is compatible with the keyboard. Thinking to use the back naked. Is anyone using the smart keyboard without the back cover?

Definitely - it makes it nice and easy to carry, slim and light ... well, on a relative basis. My iPad Air 2 with Belkin Ultimate actually weighed more and was thicker due to the back case.

Yeah I was to buy a Logitech keyboard as well but people said it's a bit heavy. I think will go for the smart keyboard.

I am using the iPad Pro with a smart keyboard and without the back case. It do occasionally worry but oh well, £65 for a bit of plastic is not worth it. I will pick the cheaper versions when they come onto ebay.

I am also waiting for the new back cases to come out as well. As far as I am searching there is a few back cases that are compatible with the smart keyboard.

I am for now, with no issues. I have the Apple back cover, but I feel it adds to much weight so not using it now. Hoping to find something like weight on amazon but most aren't compatible with a cover that I have seen.

I just own the Smart Keyboard and a cheap Amazon sleeve. I don't feel the need for a back cover.
