Is anyone waiting for Diablo III?

I know that still early but I'm waiting for this game and I want to play it on my mac. I actually don't know even if my MacBook(late 2008) can run it.:confused:
 
Very much looking forward to it, I suspect we'll start to hear more details once Starcraft II is out. Does your Macbook have Intel or Nvidia graphics? With Nvidia you'll probably able to run it at lower settings, if Intel then I highly doubt it.
 
I'm more excited for Diablo 3 over Startcraft 2. It's going to be a while before that game is released though. I can't wait. I'm really excited to see how they increase the game play of Diablo 3. I'm hoping that they continually add campaigns, quests, and items like WoW. If they did that, I would never stop playing.
 
I was like a year ago when they first started releasing footage and stating that the game would be available around Christmas time.

Now my excitement has waned : / I will still probably get it when/if it ever comes out but its not a priority for me at the moment.
 
I've been trying to fill the anticipation of playing Diablo 3 when it comes out by playing Torchlight and going back and forth with Diablo 2. I know it will take some time since Blizzard is making it :D I guess Starcraft 2 will do until Diablo 3 comes out!!!

Man!!! I can't wait though... and yes I also hope they will do add ons and extras for D3 just like WoW. That would be so awesome!
 
Sadly Blizzard are refusing to give any kind of release date but because it's Blizzard, A). It'll be a simultaneous Mac/PC release and B). It'll be properly bug tested pre-release and supported/patched for decades.
 
I'm looking forward to it, but honestly at this point I almost feel like we'll have Torchlight 2 first... and at that point I might not care so much anymore.

woohoooo! waiting for it to come out myself! Knowing Blizzard, I'd say your book will likely be able to handle it, somewhere in the midrange settings (if 9400gt)
 
I'm looking forward to Diablo 3. Also looking forward to Starcraft 2, and Crysis 2. Need a new computer to play them on first, though.

Intel GMA X3100 :(

I know already that is likely to not run, I already had bad experiences with other games. That is why I own a PS3.

I'm thinking to buy myself an iMac or a new MBA anyway this September.

I'd say Torchlight is a pretty solid contendor. It's a first in the series and not as polished now.... but it does have some of the original Diablo team on board so you never know. I bet the recent Steam sale helped them raise some cash and if they do end up going to console that will bring in more for sure which should help them develop an even better TL2
 
I'm waiting on it, it kills me every time i see the videos, it looks so....finished, and yet I know it'll take at least one more year until it comes out...
