Just want to know, is anyone working on a Jailbreak for iPhone 5? Got my iPhone 5 for a while now and just want it jailbroken.

Other than the multitude of nobodies/fakers, @planetbeing (on Twitter) is really the only person who has put significant work towards an iOS6 jailbreak. No real news in a couple weeks though, so we're probably several weeks or months away from one, if at all.

I'm hoping 6.1 will be out soon and then maybe we will find out more with what's going on about the jb possibilities.
Even if they had one ready for example it makes no sense to release it since the new firmware should be out within days.

Do you know where I can see what new features will be added?

I am pretty new to the whole jail breaking thing since I just jumped over from android and the whole rooting/flashing game. I was told by a couple of people with experience on IOS that the whole jailbreaking game isn't the same as android in terms of how much you can do. Do you guys know of a trust worthy site where I can learn more about the benefits of jailbreaking your apple products? The best hacks and customizations, etc? I have google searched but it's not as out there as Android roms are and such and I have heard that the internet is filled with apple fakes.

this forum is agood place to start, many threads on good apps and tweaks,
Cydia is what the JB appstore is called, when jailbroken you can get you apps there.

What device and iOS version are you on?

I just bought my first iphone this past weekend, iphone 5. But I also have the ipod touch and the ipad 2. I was actually looking through the forum now and I did find a lot more information. I didn't look deep enough before posting a stupid question  I'm excited though. Can't wait till it's possible on the iphone 5. For now, I guess I will keep looking for something for my ipod and ipad.
