Is Apple a part of PRISM or not?

A month ago, the NSA leaks revealed that several tech companies were a part of PRISM, with Apple being the last among them to join. However, Apple released a statement that contradicts this. They say that they never heard of PRISM and that they don't let the government look through their servers. (Source: http://www.apple.com/apples-commitment-to-customer-privacy/)

Despite this, I still hear people talking about Aplle and PRISM. Is Apple a part of PRISM or not? They wouldn't just flat out lie on their website, right? But what about the MSA documents?
