How about something like, "Is Apple turning into one of those apples that you get when you buy a bunch of apples, and all of the other apples are fine but this one is kind of mushy and has a little brown spot on the inside and you consider bringing it back to the grocery store but you have laundry to do and it's a pretty long drive and really it's not even a dollar so I guess it doesn't matter?"
Just saying, maybe be a bit more creative?
Or, how about, "Is Apple betraying their core values/users?" "Is Apple becoming everything they've claimed to stand against?" How about real headlines?
