Love my new Mini 6. Based upon history, Apple seems to treat iPad Mini like they barely care about it. Upgrades to it- like this 6- can be amazing but there are often rumors of Mini being discontinued flying at least as often as rumors about an upgrade.

My own guess, the next Mini- the 7- probably arrives about 2023-4... probably not "pro" either.

But if they DO roll out a Mini pro with iPhone Max cameras and maybe even bigger storage, I'm first in line to buy. The 6 is fantastic but I do envy the pro cameras being on board.

ProMotion will probably trickle down eventually. I wouldn't expect it in the near future though. Apart from anything else it looks like the iPad mini and Air are only updated on alternate years now, so the mini 7 is the best part of 24 months away. If the MacBook Air for next year is anything to go by, Apple will be rolling out mini LED 60HZ as the next display upgrade for the 'Air' tier products.

As for a separate 'mini Pro', I highly doubt it. I expect the Pros to get larger if anything.

They may or may not do so ...... does that answer make me a Kuo-level analyst?
yes. and now tell us about the M4 Extreme Macbook Pro… does the integrated coffee cup holder/heater impact battery life when in parallel color grading 16k RAW video? Will there be a (cheaper) third party substitute for the exchangeable cloth part of the integrated screen wiper? Can it pivot?
