Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Santa Rosa support DDR2 800 RAM? If that is the case, why is Apple shipping the new MacBook Pro with DDR2 667 RAM? Isn't that holding back performance? What kind of performance increase can be expected replacing the stock DDR2 667 RAM with aftermarket DDR2 800 RAM?

PC2-6400 RAM is kind of pricey. Do you think it wasn't chosen because of price?
