Hello All, was learning about history and how technology evolved over time, My own thoughts led to me thinking eventually compared to the future is AI really surprising? Yes the upgrades are amazing in fact I believe we are well on our way to AI leading job professions in the coming decades
However another thought crossed my head, What will happen when AI gets to its limit? We consider "on screen awareness" features as really well and then move past those features.
The camera control feature one of the features that sets apart the 15 pro line up to the 16 pro line up was just set aside almost immediately. So I ask the question, will we ever get bored of AI?

What will happen when AI gets to its limit?
We're just scratching the surface of AI capability, there's really no way to grasp what the end product may look like. I suppose we must turn to the minds of the great science fiction writers and see how they envisioned it.

n fact I believe we are well on our way to AI leading job professions in the coming decades
If you mean AI taking away jobs, yes, we are already well on our way. If you sit behind a computer for a job, or answer the phone, then you're at risk.

So I ask the question, will we ever get bored of AI?
People are excited about the prospect of AI, its the next great thing, Business are excited about AI, because it means not paying humans and having a computer do their job 24x7 for pennies of what humans would have cost. Governments are excited, to allow them to more powerful and project their power and philosphy on their citizens and/or others. boredom isn't something that will happen with AI, not when it allows individuals to learn new skills, businesses to run with less employees, and government to do what they want to their citizens

You can do stuff like that with AI already. I dont think we need to go any further beyond this.

From what I have seen with AI in MacOS it is pretty useless, especially compared to their competitors... if you can even call them that as Apple is not even in the same league. I have ChatGPT+, use it all the time and saves me a ton of time at work with various tasks. Also at home I use voice now and then when playing a game called Star Citizen. My computer does not run it well right now so I don't get on a lot but am upgrading in the next week so will be able to enjoy this game. Updates come somewhat regularly to this game and they change a lot of things, including how controls and short cut works. When I do play I turn on ChatGPT voice and when I need to know how to do something I simply ask and it gives me the right answer as quickly as I would if I had a friend there with me who knew how to play. Not this is a game, if I was learning Adobe CC I could do the same thing, whenever I run into something simply ask and it gives a walk through on how to accomplish it, and if I don't understand or it did not get me right I can simply explain it differently and go from there. There is nothing even close from Apple AI from what I have seen and unless they buy someone who has a good AI already I don't see them catching up.

To answer the question in your title then Apple Intelligence is not looking to compete with a lot of other AI but more aimed at assisting with doing what would do manually previously.
Ie will assist with your tasks as opposed to be being a generative AI.
