i tried listening to something on Apple Music and I received a pop up asking to sign up for apple music. When I went to click on the music tab in settings, it just froze.

Anyone experiencing this?

I am on latest non beta, iPhone 6

AM is working for me but I ran into that problem yesterday on my iPad. Not sure what the problem was, maybe some kind of authentication glitch. I rebooted my iPad and all was well--and playing fine this morning on my iPad.

I had similar issues on Friday. Seems to be working without any issues now.

Had this happen again--this time to both my iPad and my iPhone. The only way I could get iCloud services restored was to reboot both devices. Not just affecting AM but also iCloud backup and basically logging into iCloud--when trying to check iCloud through Settings, Settings will freeze. Perhaps something introduced in the last IOS update? Pretty confident it is Apple since it affected both iPad and iPhone.

Had this happen multiple times over the past few weeks. It was especially bad yesterday.

I've had the same happen to me all day on both my iPhone and iPad. I go to choose a song and then it asks me to choose a membership plan and then it freezes. Reboot doesn't seem to do anything.

This is a persistent issue for me as well. It's made my phone mostly useless. It appears a reboot (or restore) only fixes things for a couple of hours, at best, and a few precious minutes, at worst.

Man! Glad to know I am not crazy. But also sad to hear a bunch of people having this problem :(

Yep, multiple times in the last few days. Hard reset fixed it. A normal reset probably would too, but I just get frustrated and mass quit everything lol.

Why is this not on the front page on Mac Rumors? This is only happening on iPhone or iPads really annoying can not listen to any of my music in my car and keeps telling me to sign up when I am already signed but that is not all, it also freezes up my phone when I go to music to purchase something or when trying to my app store settings in the settings.

Yup--all of the above for me as well--also affects iCloud backups not always being able to run.

I've just returned from the apple store and things appear to be fixed. The apple store employee restored my phone after putting it in DFU mode; he claims the regular restore option in iTunes does not effect the firmware.
