Is audio Airplay possible with the new ATV and an iPhone running a 4.2 beta?

I have the new box and a dev account. I haven't bothered updating my iPhone 4 to 4.2 because it's, well, a beta but if I can play audio from the phone to the ATV without needing iTunes I might consider it.

I'm assuming video Airplaying isn't working in the betas yet since I haven't read any reports of it. I'd be happy to be told I was wrong on that though.

Yes, with 4.2 you can use AirPlay. Tried with iPad and it works great. Audio only.

Out of interest, can it send audio to multiple AirPlay receivers? I.e. Can you send audio from your iPad to both an AppleTV and an Airport Express simultaneously, like you can from iTunes?

No, you can only select one speaker to play the content on. From iTunes you can select multiple.
