Thanks for that, I have become very dependent on Blender over the past few years, so if it didn’t work on M1 Macs, that would really be a blow for me.
Also, it’s good to see that the Blender Foundation is going ahead with a native version for M1 Macs. Thanks for your words of warning about running alpha and beta software willy nilly, I already learned that lesson back when still using 2.79. I have a 2.9 file that, to this day, will not open.
