Happily I indeed received my braided solo loop. I am living in a country where there is no Apple Store so I had to ask my friend to purchase and ship to me for months.

Overall I think this loop band is a little bit overpriced. I feel dry and rough wearing it. However, as it's so unique I am thinking of purchase one mode Atlantic blue braided solo loop.

Do you think this band durable? I always have a feeling that it's so vulnerable so I wear it with care and avoid colliding with things.

The size 7 fits me so perfectly, but some people and even Apple said it would stretch a bit. So should I purchase the second braided solo loop size 6? Have you experienced stretching of this band?

How long have you had it now?
When I first received it, it was quite snug and left a mark on my wrist. But it has stretched a tiny little bit to be perfect now. I'd say make sure it's SNUG when its new. For me it's quite durable. I do not take extra care and so far it's my favorite band.

Now it fits perfectly by leaving a slight mark on my wrist, it's size 6. I am wondering if I should purchase the next solo braided loop size 5.

hmmm... braided solo loops and cats dont work very well together.. at least from the loops point of view =))

in general i try to avoid pulling/stretching the loop over the hand, when putting it on or off. I slide the second lug in, while the loop already is in place on the arm. And putting it off in a similar way.. pressing the tiny release button on the inside with my fingernail, i slide the lug out of the 'rail' of the watch to take it off. Maybe not the most elegant solution, but the loop still feels snug and shows same tightness as new ☺️

I love stretching it tbh haha. The one you put it on/off is next level.
I love my bands tight, so even after wearing it for a few months, it still leaves a slight mark. To each their own preference.
As long as the band doesn't shift up and down too much or of course swing from top wrist to bottom wrist, it should be fine. Wear it for a week and a half and if it does stretch, then go exchange it for a size down!

Got one about 5 months ago and went a size smaller than my solo loop. I was thinking to myself how much looser the braided has become now. It for sure stretches.

In my opinion you'll be fine. Since it fits you so well I don't see you stretching it much while putting it on and off. In case it DOES stretch, it will be a very minimal amount.

This is one of my favourite bands, I've got a blue & green one and they're the bands I wear most. Really comfortable and surprisingly durable, but they've definitely loosened-off over time.

In this video they wash the Braided after stretching it considerably and really putting it to the test and he said it recover its original size after washing it. Interesting to see

So I just received mine and I don't want to say that it's loose but it's definitely not snug tight. I guess what I'm curious about is if the stretching would occur if it's not snug on my wrist. I can see maybe when taking it on and off. Also, it's still a bit cold where I'm at, so heat and humidity may make it feel more snug too.

That would worry me, but you make a good point about different weather to come.

I’ve swapped many bands (Apple and knockoff) prior to getting the braided solo loop. It’s been on my watch since October 2020 and worth the $99 to me. It’s maybe stretched slightly but still super comfortable. It has some tiny frays on one edge but barely noticeable. I’ve taken no special care of it. I’ll be buying another one if/when Apple offers new colors.

Yeah I ended up deciding to do an exchange and Apple is shipping a Size 6. I think even the slightest amount of stretching would make it tough. The size 6 might feel pretty snug at first but with stretching I think it would be good.

I’ve worn mine since early January and I do feel it has stretched but it’s minimal really. When it was brand new I felt it was a bit tootight and it would leave the marks of the threads on my wrist. Now it doesn’t. But I don’t feel it loose in any way. It doesn’t slide up and down my arm when I workout. Its just snug enough, breathable, comfortable and it looks great. Worth the money in my book

Awesome. Makes me glad I’m going down a size. It’s a really nice band that I want to wear for a while.

mine stretched a little bit but it wasn’t my primary band. So your mileage may vary. Bought since red was available. Don’t go for a size that is marking up your wrists.

I‘m glad to hear that the Braided Solo Loop stretches over time.

I ordered a Solo Loop in size 9 and it fits quite perfectly. Then I ordered a Braided Solo Loop in 8 and 9.
The BSL in 9 is larger than the Solo Loop in 9.
The BSL in 8 is smaller the Solo Loop in 9.

Since I prefer the BSL over the regular Solo Loop, I would appreciate if the BSL size 8 stretches a little.

What do you guys think?

Not recommended if you have a cat. I put my sons cat down and her claw got hooked into one of the weaves. Basically ruined after two days.

Wear my BL almost 24/7 apart from when charging, so sleeping, shower, workout and playing golf and to be fair it is now so comfortable I dont even know it is on half the time....only issue I Have is that unlike the standard polymer bands the Blood/Oxygen measurement has a lot more failed readings with the BL
