is build time accurate? (M1 Max)

Just wondering if build and delivery time are accurate for M1 max studio devices. I usually have ordered products in which there is not an extended build time, so just wondering on the accuracy. Thanks

It was when I ordered mine, but that was back in March, a day after release. Dunno what it's like currently.

Apple has consistently delivered Mac Studio/M1 Max computers within the delivery time promised, and generally early. Nevertheless the wait times were lengthy, probably mostly due to the re-emergence of coronavirus in China shortly after the March 8th launch event. Apple flagged this as the problem during its April 28th Q2 earnings call. However, the wait time has shortened significantly in the last 2-3 weeks.

On Monday, one person posted in the thread that he'd ordered a base Studio Max and was given a 1-2 week delivery window. This afternoon, he reported receiving the computer, three days after he ordered it.
