Is cydia down?

Uh... Cydia can't be "down" -- it's an application, not a service. Individual apt repos can be down, but the application itself can't be.

Without knowing the name of the repo that's giving you trouble, we have no way to verify if there's a problem. All the default repos seem to be up though, so my bet is it's an issue with your config (or with a repo you've added.)

yeah.. now i figure it out it could be 1 of the source(planet iphone) is down.. because i try dling other things from other source(modmyi) no problem with that... sorry an iphone noob down here =)
