iPad Pro Is Dolby Atmos new to iPad Pro? Possibly speaker upgrades?

I’m not sure if Dolby Atmos was always a feature of the previous iPad Pros, but they were features mentioned in the keynote and on their website with the M1 iPad Pro. Did previous generations have this?

I’m hoping for some speaker upgrades even if they’re minor. ?
