Is domain privacy worth it? So some phyco doesn't look up your domain and find where you live.

What's the cost these days . . $9/$10 per year? Seems a minor expense for not having your name and mailing address visible for the entire planet to see.

Yes it is

at one time a couple years ago I had over 1000 domain names and paid over $900/per year just for privacy. So Yes I think its important. It only takes one loser to ruin your day or worse.

I've gone back and forth on this for myself and while I will not attempt to refute the people saying for a few bucks its worth it. I opted not to sign up for it for a couple of my domains. I've not seen any problems yet.

Also some TLDs you cannot even get that, such as .us. FWIW, I don't use my actual email address that I use but rather one that I can easily filter, or ignore if need be. I don't put my phone number down on the registration either.
