Hi,
I'm currently on iOS 7.1.2 stock, haven't jailbroken yet. I'm thinking about upgrading to iOS 8 to see if battery life improves but just in case might want to downgrade in case things don't. Back in the day you could downgrade with some certificate and blocking Apple's server through the host file. Is that still possible?

Thanks.

It is not possible to downgrade to iOS 7.1.2.

So I should probably stick with iOS 7.1.2 because I haven't heard good things about iOS 8 in terms of battery life and Safari browsing.

Is it closed? I think I heard musclenerd said it was still possible. Could have been a few days back though.

Edit nvm msj was from 22 sept. Lol

I'm still on ios 7.1.2. Was debating to jailbreak ios 8 or just stay at jailbroken ios 7.1.2. Then again I hardly touch my ipod so I might as well.
