Is FireFox Broken Under Catalina?

Weirdest thing yesterday. I was using Firefox and I suppose an update was downloaded in the background. I closed the browser to apply the update but when I launch Firefox now, I get an error from MacOS. I have even downloaded and installed it again. It is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
