When I'm using Logic Pro, this application, "Foodstamps Licensing Hub" keeps opening. I Google'd it and it belongs to this website yum-audio.com...the thing is I've never downloaded or used any of their plugins. Is this malware?

What the hell?! It might be malware, though I have no proof. Get rid of it ASAP and run a malware scan. Maybe even reinstall macOS if you're really worried.

The description on the Yum Audio site seems pretty straightforward about what it's for. Yes, it may be something other than what it says on the box, but it wouldn't be the best malware if it calls attention to itself like that. There is also mention of it on the Black Salt Audio site, so they obviously use the same tool. In my search results there were no references to it being possible malware, other than this thread.

If you don't have any of the relevant plugins then you should be able to delete it without issue - just follow Nermal's instructions above. I would probably keep it on the desktop until I launched Logic Pro again, just to be sure.

In the absence of any obvious sign of skullduggery though, it's more likely that something you've installed has included one or more of Yum or Black Salt Audio's plugins. If you're able to remember when it started appearing, it may help you remember how it came to be there.

Download MalwareBytes and run it:

IMPORTANT:
Select the "home" option.
It's a FREE download

IMPORTANT:
You DO NOT NEED TO BUY A SUBSCRIPTION to run MalwareBytes.
It will run FOREVER IN FREE MODE.

It runs this way for about 30 days or so.
Then, it will ask if you wish to register.
You DO NOT have to register -- just say no and opt to continue using it "for free".

The difference between the paid version and the free version is:
- the paid version runs all the time "in the background"
but...
- the free version only runs when you launch it (but still is functional).

You CAN pay to register it if you wish. The cost is very reasonable.
Do this, and it will offer malware scanning/protection "in real time", continuously.

The free version is "good enough for me"...
