To Garage Band programmers if you get this:
I've used this software for years, because it's convenient. There are an enormous amount of issues with Garage Band I've always noticed, but now I think this software might actually be a sadistic joke. Can someone for the love of all that is God, tell me why when I export my audio—it is NEVER as it sounds in the program? Who's the programmer you hired to sit around and apply ghost filters to tracks that nobody asked for? You need to fire them, permanently and write them a bad review on their next job application.
I will never figure out why my audio comes out sounding like a roller-coaster of horrendous volume changes, no matter what I do; I turn auto-normalize off and the compressor, because these affect my volume and turn them into disgusting worthless unusable low-quality volume roller coasters which sound like some joke of a creator was speaking into the mic and turning his head while playing Twister.
It literally will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER matter what anyone wants their audio to sound like, or which filters & preferences they apply or do not apply—because you've hired apparently sadistic trolls to run your software who shove ghost filters onto our audios during export, entirely against the user's request. There is literally no point in using your software, because it doesn't matter what we do, YOOOOOOOU and YOOOOOOUR staff have decided to trump any and all decisions the users may make about their audio to ensure that even if it is 100% perfect during playback, and any other filters that may modify the export are turned off—you've very inconveniently for your own purposes, decided to ensure that all exports come out sounding like roller coasters of audio changes for absolutely no other reason than your own belligerence.
Disgusting, and what a terrible team of programmers you must have. I often regret ever choosing Garage Band for my many projects. SHAAAAAAAAME on you for adding ghost filters on export that the user did not consent to. SHAAAAAME on you. How unprofessional, unruly, despicable and rude of you.
I'm so over it. For years I've kept silent and told myself, "Just be grateful, the program does a lot of great things you love." I am so tired of you it's not even funny. There is zero chance this is an accident; we know full well you're applying ghost filters to exports, and that is borderline artistic molestation deciding FOR US what our work should or shouldn't be in the end. SHAME on you.
