Apple Store, USA
As the title says, is it safe and will it void my warranty with apple? My friend had it and I thought it looks cool but I don't want to download it if it is unsafe or voids my warrent like a jailbreak would.

It is totally safe as it is no different from an app from the App Store. It doesn't ask for any permissions other than installing. It also doesn't void warranty since it doesn't modify the software and uses an Enterprise Certificate to work. Many companies use Enterprise Certificates to install apps whether for beta testing or installing an app for their company that they wouldn't want on the App Store for other people to use.

Thanks for replying, why wouldn't they just put it on the App Store if they expect to distribute the app to the public, isn't that why Apple revoked the enterprise fortification for gba4ios? Are u sure it is safe even though apple had revoked that enterprise cortificate?(just wondering after reading a website article)

Wow, I was totally not aware of this until now. Can't believe I've been missing out playing some classics I played growing up. Thanks for this lol.

Emulators aren't allowed on the AppStore... That's why.

Is GBA4iOS 2.0 safe and will it void my iPhone's warranty if I install it?

To expand on this, Apple wouldn't want to have to deal with copyright issues with Nintendo and other companies. Also by revoking the certificate, Apple is showing that they don't condone or support the use of an Enterprise Certificate for distribution of emulators, again due to copyright reasons. It doesn't necessarily mean viruses or such, just after the date they revoke the certificate the app will no longer work (there is an obvious work around).

Enterprise certificate may be used for beta testing an app (quite expensive to pursue on your own unless you use third party like TestFlight) so it is available to limited number of people and doesn't accidentally get into the hands of customers which may download it despite warning (obviously there are a lot of people who do not read the description as evidence by games saying it work on certain devices). Companies will use Enterprise Certificates to sign personal apps that they do not want public. You might have seen store employees with apps on their Apple device but are not available on the App Store. These stores use the Enterprise Certificates for this purpose.

Does Apple Have the Legal Rights, to Revoke GBA4iOS if Your Device is No Longer Under Apple Warranty?

Apple Cannot Legally Own My Device/Devices I Paid for Anylonger if My Warranty No Longer Exsist, Hence They Souly have No Legal Right to Make Users of The Device/Devices UPDATE There SoftWare nore Take Away my Control Over My applications! There for, They Souly only Own there Provided Service/Services of iOS SoftWare Update's & Under Apply Servicess, They No Longer Have ANY OwnerShip Over My Paid Device, if Paid in Full by the Time your Waranty has Expired and There For The Services Of Apple SoftWare Updated ARE Provided Under APPLE's Own Descression!

Reading this was so much harder than it really should have been because of so much capitalization...didn't quite realize how much something like that gets in the way until you are actually faced with it.

The warranty on your device is completely unrelated to Apple revoking someone's enterprise certificate for them breaching the terms under which that enterprise certificate was issued (which is what happened here)
