hi, all the recently itunes music albums that i have purchased, dont seem to work with genius.
is there something that i am doing wrong?
i add a few albums then i update my genius and choose a newly purchased song and it says there isnt enough songs in my library that match.

You might have to update it? Under the store menu select "Update Genius" and see if that works.

EDIT: Yep, I am not qualified to help anyone since I glazed over the rest of your message... please disregard my "suggestion"

I have had that happen with a couple of songs but usually rare ones (ie local bands) or even some songs that I had tagged incorrectly... not sure why though, sorry.
 
The way the genius works (that I was told) is that it associates the songs in a users library with the playlists those songs are in, play counts, etc.

For new songs, that data hasn't really been established from all the people who own said song. For older songs that have existed forever and a day, the associations already exist, thus genius "works". I still never use it though....
