I've had my new MacBook Since the end of September, and I'm already about to buy a new Mac. The company I work for is buying my MacBook from me, and I'll be able to buy a MacBook Pro for personal use. So after not having my own mac since os9, I'm buying two Apple Laptops in less than 3 months.
My question is about the iPhone, several of the iPhone use I know have had issues. The problems have been related to either the battery, updates, or them dropping the phone. I know lost of people who have dropped them more than once. Apple has been great, and replaced each one of those phones, and gave the users loaners while they looked at the damaged phones.
I don't have money to throw away, but I really want an iPhone, but like many other I don't care to use AT&T. So my question is, are the benifits of using the iPhone on T-Mobile worth the possibilty of not having it covered by any warranty if you damage it, or it comes deffctive. I spoke to one of our local apple store reps and was told apple will not even touch a phone that has not been registered.
My wife wants to get this phone for me for a Christmas Present, but I don't know if its worth the risk. Does anyone have any insight?
