Is input blocking finally gone?

Hey guys,

ever since iOS 7 with the new design was released, the terrible input blocking was introduced.

In a short: during animations you couldn’t interact and had to wait till the animation was completely finished.

I installed the beta on my iPad and noticed an improvement if not even the full elimination of input blocking.
How is it on iPhones? Can anyone agree or still find situations where input blocking appears?
