is insomnia working for everyone?

it doesnt seem to work for me at all

i activate it, and i see the logo on the status bar

but when i leave a youtube donwload on the foreground and turn the screen off

i come back 10 minutes later and unlock the phone, the app shows up ,and i see the transfer is at 0kb/s and a few seconds later it starts moving again to 100kb/s

tried it a few times always the same result

It has been working great for me. It was the first tweak I downloaded as soon as my iPhone 5 was jailbroken. :D
 
Working beautifully for me on iPhone 5. Keeps me connected to my work wifi which usually disconnects on sleep. Threw a SBSettings toggle in for it as well.

I do hope Insomnia's developer releases toggle for Auxo. I don't have SBSettings anymore so I have to open the app to turn it on/off. Oh well. :)
 
What's apps r u guys running with insomnia?

It's supposed to keep an app running indefinitely (originally only 10 mins) with the screen locked and turned off. I donno why it isn't doing that for me.

No it's not. Insomnia is supposed to keep wifi connected when the phone is put into sleep-mode

That description matches InfinityTask's description perfectly. Is it possible you're getting the two confused?

On cydia the description says:

"Allows application to continue to run and wifi to stay connected long after the screen has been shut off."

I even tried the Dropbox app. Same thing, after the screen has been shut off it app pops a notification telling me to reopen the app to continue uploading after 10 mins.

I tried infinitytask too it doesn't keep the app running when the screen is off. What it does is it allows u to run an app indefinitely (bypassing 10min limit) in the background while ur screen is on. Once u shut the screen off it still stops the app after 10 mins.
 
I just turn off 3g data via NC settings when i'm at home so my iphone stays connected via WiFi.

Eliminates the need for another tweak download !
