The dogs in the streets are barking it, iOS 15 is a step backwards. It’s is so full of holes, contradictions, so clunky that it makes you wonder if the designers have had any long time iPhone usage behind them. But the buck must stop with someone, and that’s Tim Cook. That he allowed such a shrill, hollow and tuneless update to come out under his watch speaks volumes. Apple urgently needs a heave at the top starting with him. And it needs it almost as quick as we need a major change to iOS 15.
